Episodes of Sledge Hammer! will be shown, and Alan Spencer will attend.
There will be prizes awarded for the person who dresses up and looks like the best Sledge Hammer! Character!

Sledge Hammer only ran 2 seasons due to the fact that it was competing against
some very fierce competition: Dallas, Miami Vice and Cosby. Certainly if these
shows were not airing when Sledge Hammer was on, the show probably would not have
been cancelled. In my opinion possibly Sledge Hammer would probably have run at
least another 8 seasons easily due to the clever and ingenious writing of its
creator Alan Spencer who was only in his twenties when he did such an excellent
job writing and producing Sledge.
Sledge Hammer was extremely funny since it starred the great comic actor David Rasche.
Anne-Marie Martin added some nice window dressing and acted as Sledge's counterbalance
to try and let him know when he was "loosing it". Harrison Page as Captain Trunk also
did an excellent job yelling and screaming at Sledge for all of his "loose cannon" antics
and would never know exactly how to try and control this manic, crazy and sometimes very
unpredictable Sledge Hammer.
I created this page as a tribute to Sledge Hammer, the entire cast and crew as well
as Alan Spencer and William D'Angelo who did all they could to keep Sledge on the air
for 2 full seasons. I have created many video, audio clips and pictures from the DVD's
in an effort to keep the "Sledge Hammer" memory alive. Also I have links for people to
order the DVD's for seasons one and two. This is for the people who never had an
opportunity to see "Sledge Hammer" when it first aired in 1986. Now they can become
full fledged "HammerHeads"! I certainly hope you write me and tell if there is anything
you would like for me to add to the site and I want to thank Alan Spencer for giving us
Sledge Hammer for the brief moment in time that it was here.
Let's All Keep working on posting on the Forums so that we can get a Convention in the USA
and also a Sledge Hammer Reunion Movie!
